Beyoncé, Mariah Carey, Nelly Furtado ... and clan Gaddafi

Beyonce, Nelly Furtado and Mariah Carey have in common ... the three singers were produced for the clan Gaddafi, a few years ago, against a big check! Like many Western heads of state, some celebs have had no scruples to make friends with dictacteur Libyan Muammar Gaddafi was said to be wiser and more frequent! Due to the current situation in Libya, the three celebrities have decided to catch up (so to speak) by donating their fee to the respective charities.

According to them, they would have been handled, at least for two of them! Beyonce's representative said: "All the money given to Beyoncé for her performance at a private concert at Nikki Beach in St. Barts to New Year's Day 2009, including the commission that had been delivered to the agency, was offered to organizations helping in Haiti a year ago.

The spokesman said they decided to give this money to good causes, once they knew the organizer of this concert was a family friend Gaddafi. Mariah Carey on his side gives much the same explanation as Beyoncé, the mother did not know she would sing to people close to the Libyan dictacteur.

She said: "I was naive and I had no idea who was going to sing. I feel horrible and embarrassed to have been involved in this story. "We need to be better informed and more accountable to the people who organize our shows," she added. Canadian singer Nelly Furtado (more honest?) Admits to have occurred before the Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, four years ago.

She promised Feb. 28 on his Twitter page that it would donate to charity the stamp of a million dollars she had received. "In 2007 I received a million dollars Gaddafi clan for a show of 45 minutes in front of guests at a hotel in Italy. I will donate, "she wrote on her Twitter page. Adding that other celebrities have also given private concerts at the Gaddafi family.

It cites Usher and Lionel Richie. This is a rather embarrassing situation for our beloved peoples!
