John Galliano, his "victim" defends!

Antisémitise, racism. These are the charges against the former designer of Dior, already dismissed by the house after they discovered his recent behavior at the terrace cafe Pearl. Undeniably, the comments reported were violent, racist, were anti-Semitic. But while the case is the talk of the fashion world and beyond, the man who made the complaint against John Galliano takes to defend the accused.

Le Parisien in an interview that day, the witness said: "I do not think it is racist or antisemitic (...) I am convinced that his words have passed his mind." He did not know the creator at the time of the altercation, but it has mostly the feeling of seeing someone exhausted, having attended an uncontrolled skid: "From this story I inquired about his work.

I saw he put forward the differences and that mixed cultures in their parades. I think, more importantly, he is very ill and it was for him, above all, a provocation "Face the media frenzy and the denial of which the designer been in the fashion world, the victim would be reluctant to withdraw its complaint if the judicial machinery was not already underway.

"For me, this is a simple bar fight. John Galliano does not deserve this. I do not want the destroyed like that." John Galliano, for his part, did not draw such a mea culpa. If he gave an apology, he denies having made anti-Semitic, even drunk. The decision will be taken to court, the hearing will be held in the second half of 2011.

John Galliano risk 6 months in jail and 22,500 euros fine.
