Britney Spears: A femme fatale dethroned by Adele

It will not stay long in pole position. While his album was quickly hoisted to the top spot in Billboard last week, Britney already began to tumble and just getting caught up by the singer and songwriter. Everything was gone, though. With this first place, the singer boasted of having joined Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson on the mini-list of artists who scored six consecutive albums in the first place in the top U.S.

sales. And then wham, for its second week the album sold only 75,000 copies of his disc, thereby registering a decline of 75%. Ouch! The controversy surrounding his alleged lining in the clip is it for something? Impossible to say. One thing is sure, she has brilliantly pulled out of the game with 88,000 copies sold.

Not only does the first pic up of Britney, but in addition, she became the first artist to surpass one million units sold in 2011. Britney courage, it is with you!
