Thomas Gibson, about to leave Criminal Minds

Bad news for fans: the seductive Thomas Gibson who plays Aaron Hotchner Agent, Head of Department of Behavioural Science, dansEsprits Crime, is about to leave the series. This TV Festival of Monte Carlo last week, along with his colleague Matthew Gray Gubler (aka Spencer Reid), the actor told his pleasure to have been directed by him in two episodes: Mosley Lane and Lauren.

Currently in the midst of renegotiating his contract, Thomas Gibson hopes to reach an agreement with the production, especially as the financial returns of the series are on the rise. Very attached to his character, which is present from the very beginning of Criminal Minds, he believes he has much more to make him live, but is not ready to sacrifice his salary.


Season 7, aired in the U.S. from next September, could be his last. Until more information, you go on TF1 next Wednesday at 20:45 for three new episodes of Season 6 of Criminal Minds!
