Prince William and Kate plant a tree to symbolize their love

Currently on an official trip to Canada, Prince William and his wife, the lovely Kate Middleton, spent a Saturday under the sign of love. For this, the couple even had to do some gardening ... Indeed, the Duke and Duchess were invited to plant a tree at Rideau Hall, which is simply the residence of Governor General of Canada.

This symbolic gesture is a symbol of their love, and this for 800 years! The tree of Prince William and Kate is an Eastern Hemlock, also called Eastern Hemlock in Quebec, and is not far from the oak that Prince Charles and Princess Diana had themselves planted June 21, 1983, at the the first anniversary of their eldest son, William.

The latter has also collected a few moments before a plaque in memory of his mother. The couple then met couples who were married on the same day they, that is to say April 29, 2011, and husband celebrating their 50th, 60th and even 70th wedding anniversary.
