Dallas: a remake is on its way!

Melrose Place and Beverly Hills were already passed by lifting the box, it's time for Dallas series to be given up to date. One that has fascinated Americans from 1978 to 1991 with the adventures of Ewing family. In 2010, the American network TNT announced so it is working on the remake, but we now know more about this new version of the cult series.

The pilot episode has already been filmed, the cast is completed, but the series will be released in the summer of 2012. While keeping some of the original characters, the series will focus more on the second generation of the family Ewing.


However, we will find some familiar faces including Larry Hagman who played the infamous JR. Patrick Duffy, best known young audiences for his role as father to our beautiful family, will reprise his role of Bobby Ewing. Among the additions to the cast, two extradited from Desperate Housewives, Jesse Metcalfe (John Rowland) and Brenda Strong (Mary Alice Young).
