The Castilian-director Pedro Almodovar was presenting his latest film The skin I live in the Cannes International Film Festival opts for the Palme d'Or to compete in the official section. He was accompanied by the protagonists of the film: Antonio Banderas and Elena Anaya, along with other cast members as Blanca Suárez, Jan Cornet and Marisa Paredes.
Antonio Banderas boasted of his sympathy in the presentation to the media and is the actor Malaga has doubled in this year's Festival. On the opening day of Cannes presented by the Mexican Salma Hayek, Puss in Boots. Meanwhile, the director and entire cast posing antre photographers with a casual look, and it will be tonight as they sashay down the red carpet.
On May 22 the award winners will be announced in Cannes and we will know if the film of Almodóvar takes a prize. The director had earlier projection living "a tremendous sense of uncertainty" to the audience reaction. The film has been greeted with applause at the event and his followers have started a campaign on Twitter to get the Palme d'Or The shooting lasted more than four months and tells the story of a plastic surgeon who becomes a real predator after the terrible death of his wife, while seeking a replacement to fill the loss.
