Jean Dujardin received an acting award at Cannes

The best actor award was not finally returned to Sean Penn - that gave the festival as a favorite - but Jean Dujardin for his role in The Artist, silent film directed by Michel Hazanavicius. Just before the start of the ceremony, the French actor confided to Lawrence Weil (Canal +) his excitement before the event and the positive reception that surrounds the film.

"It's crazy! Jean Dujardin, generally shunned rewards French, lives here a major moment in his acting career, receiving this award "hands" of Robert De Niro. Far is the time for a guy, a girl, who nevertheless made him a popular actor. During his brief speech, Jean Dujardin, excited, exclaims "I would not be me," before sharing his success with his partner on the screen Béjo Berenice.

And while he believes conclude by saying "Now I'll shut up because apparently, I'm pretty good success," Jean Dujardin catches up to declare his love for Alexandra Lamy.
