This week, Lady Gaga was in France to promote her new album. It has been such as to see JT 20h France 2 and on the set of X-Factor, where the singer 25 years had made an exit from the scene of the most successful. Although it does, Lady Gaga always surprises and unleashes reactions. After "Born This Way" and "Judas", now is "The Edge of Glory."
This time the video is surprisingly minimalist. "The Edge of Glory" deals with a 80's atmosphere, like the album, which we would tend to visually evoke the early Michael Jackson ("The Way You Make Me Feel"). The streets deserted, the Pavet, night, fog, etc.. It shows Lady Gaga dancing alone in a fire escape, or next to a saxophonist.
Here, Gaga is so surprising by its lack of extravagance.
