Manolo Otero died yesterday at the Hospital das Clinicas de Sao Paulo (Brazil) city where he lived for years. The artist was a victim of liver cancer that was discovered recently and his death came as a surprise to everyone, including Celeste Ferreira, his wife and manager. The artist expressed his desire to be cremated in the city of Santos.
Otero became famous for his peculiar way of reciting between music and during the seventies had great success as the songs "Beautiful Woman" or "I return to you." He began his artistic career in 1974 with the album all the time in the world. His friendship with Camilo Sesto, which produced several albums, he used to be making its way into the music scene at the time.
