Marion Cotillard goes to play opposite Joaquin Phoenix

The American adventure Marion Cotillard goes on! Indeed, after the site Deadline, the actress, who is currently on show at the last Woody Allen film, Midnight in Paris, has just landed a role in the new film by James Gray called Low Life. Marion Cotillard will play opposite Jeremy Renner, recently seen in The Hurt Locker, as well as Joaquin Phoenix.

This is the fourth collaboration between Joaquin Phoenix and the American director, who previously worked together on The Yards, We Own the Night and Two Lovers. In Low Life, Marion Cotillard plays a young Polish who leaves his homeland in the hope of a better life in the United States.

Unfortunately, once there it will quickly become disillusioned. The character played by Marion Cotillard does not have any choice but to prostitute themselves in order to pay for drugs from his sister who is ill. The filming of this feature film is scheduled for early 2012. While waiting to resume the path of film sets, Marion Cotillard is dedicated to the best role of his life: Mom!
