Carla Bruni private Cannes Film Festival?

The presentation at the Cannes Festival de Minuit in Paris, the latest film by Woody Allen, will she not Carla Bruni, has yet to show the film? This hypothesis is being seriously contemplated by the First Lady of France, according to Le Parisien. Although Carla Bruni does a small role in Woody Allen's latest, that of a guide to the Rodin Museum, the French actress and singer was expected on the steps of the Croisette as Midnight in Paris will open the 64th Cannes Film Festival on May 11.

But in recent days, the presence of the First Lady to the side of Woody Allen and the rest of the film crew seems compromised. Relatives of Carla Bruni has, indeed, told Le Parisien she would have preferred not to travel to Cannes. The reason? The First Lady would be afraid that something as glamorous as the Cannes Film Festival damage the image already tarnished by her husband, the lowest in the polls.

"Nicolas Sarkozy has spent a lot of time to smooth his image bling-bling, and it would be inappropriate to see his wife to play the game of lights at Cannes, "said a friend of Carla Bruni in Paris. With or without Carla, Midnight in Paris can count on the presence of its roster of stars: Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams, Marion Cotillard and Adrien Brody in the lead.
