Katy Perry: 49 weeks at the top!

49. This is not a new sexual position, but the record that has just established Katy Perry. Building on the success of his new single "AND", the singer has indeed surpass the 49 weeks in the top 10 U.S. charts, breaking the record held by the group Ace of Base for 17 years. Remember (or not) of October 1993 to September 1994, Ace of Base was on the radio with his hits "All That She Wants," "The Sign" and "Do not Turn Around", which took one after the other seats of the first American charts.

Hegemony that lasted 48 weeks. Today, Katy Perry has done better after joining the top 10 last May, the pretty 26-year U.S. there is never output. His singles "California Gurls," "Teenage Dream", "Firework" and now "AND", she sings a duet with Kanye West, have made it possible to Katy Perry unprecedented dominance in the charts.

The question everyone is asking now is: Katy Perry Does it continue on its path to 52 weeks a year, in the top 10? In response ... three weeks!
