Top Chef: Stephanie wins the final!

Monday night, M6 broadcast the grand finale of Top Chef, a reality TV show cooking. Three candidates were still in contention: Stephanie, Peter and Fanny Blood. For the occasion, M6 had put the dishes in the large (this is the case to say) by proposing a final series of live events at the Trianon Palace.

All day long, candidates have cooked for over 100 people, including former contenders and the jurors. However, only two of the three finalists will have the opportunity to present their meal. Stephanie Fanny and Peter Blood must first pass two tests, each time allowing a candidate to qualify for the next step.

A tomato-mozzarella or a pea-carrots? The first test is to rework the tomato-mozzarella in 30 minutes flat. While Peter Blood reinvents jelly, Fanny is all about the presentation with a cannelloni. As for Stephanie, she plays the original by adding fruit in his flat. Winning bet for the young woman who wins this race and is therefore qualified for the final.

The second round clash sees Peter and Fanny Blood on the preparation of peas and carrots, again in half an hour. Both candidates have tried to be original: Fanny added chorizo to its traditional dish while Peter Blood has proposed two plates, including one decorated with fruits and flowers.

After the vote of the jury is Fanny thing and will now play Stephanie in the final, depriving Peter Blood of the honor. The test finaleFanny found Stephanie in the kitchens of the Trianon Palace for the third and final test. With 100,000 euros to the key, the stakes are high, as is the nature of the event which is to serve the full meal or a starter, main course and dessert, the candidates have previously prepared for the 88 viewers , 12 former candidates and 5 members of the jury.

Stephanie has prepared the asparagus starter, a back bar main dish and a glass of olive oil and raspberry dessert. For its part, the meal consists of Fanny carpaccio of foie gras and Saint Jacques, bar, and finally, meringues and strawberries. If heads have all voted for the menu Fanny, this is not the case of former candidates and guests who prefer a meal of Stephanie.

With 76 votes against 29, Stephanie won Top Chef 2011 and pocketed the sum of 100,000 euros.
