Jean-Luc Delarue has lost his lawsuit against Chronic'art

He thought he had a good chance of winning, but the 17th Civil Chamber of the Tribunal de Grande Instance of Paris has decided otherwise. In October 2009, the magazine published Chronic'art - as part of his column satirical Bastard Academy - a post on Jean-Luc Delarue. A humor column that had obviously not relished the host / producer since the latter, a few weeks later, he filed a complaint for libel and defamation.

Invoking his right to humor, the paper defends the beginning of trying to undermine Jean-Luc Delarue. "Bastard Academy is a gallery of portraits and lively polemical tone, where even the editorial staff are grotesquely portrayed. He has continued to define the essence of satire: a cartoon, a medium of expression where the author makes fun of reality and people, "can be read on the newspaper's website.

They have been successful. Jean-Luc Delarue, meanwhile, condemned the "full costs" shall in addition pay the legal costs related to the trial.
