Woody Allen: "Carla Bruni is perfect"

Let me be clear: Carla Bruni is not a bad actress. While participation of the First Lady of France in Paris in Midnight, the new film by Woody Allen, has provoked strong reactions, the director came to the rescue of his actress during an interview on Tuesday morning at RTL. "None of what you read in newspapers about her is true," said Allen, referring to rumors that Carla Bruni had returned her scenes dozens of times since it was not meet the expectations of the director.

"We have not had to rebuild and catch, of course she played the first time. Some have said that I wanted to replace it, this never crossed my mind," continued Allen. "It acts as a guide to the Rodin Museum and is absolutely perfect." U.S. director also said that no scene with Carla Bruni, who runs a small role in the film had been cut in editing.

"Every scene that I wrote for her in the film," he said. Finally, Woody Allen said that Nicolas Sarkozy had not come to the vagaries of the plateau, as some media announced during the filming of Midnight in Paris last summer. "Her husband did not come and is imposed only once on the board.

Moreover, we had a great time with him," the director. History of pushing through flattery, Woody Allen is even argued that the role he gave to Carla Bruni in Paris at Midnight was not good enough for her! "Obviously, it would have been entitled to more, she has the talent for it but I could not move him because she had other obligations." Certainly between preparing his fourth album and her life as First Lady of France Carla Bruni is very busy!
