Katy Perry and Adele, winner of the MTV VMA 2011

Two women, Adele and Katy Perry were the winners of the gala MTV VMA 2011 MTV awards where the best music videos of the year. Katy Perry took home three laureate for 'Fireworks' as best video of the year and two more' E. T ', for his collaboration with Kanye West and its special effects (in the picture with an Atelier Versace dress mini Asian inspired with matching parasol and Jimmy Choo sandals pink).


While Adele won three awards for 'Rolling in the deep' for best art direction, best cinematography and best editing. Also during the gala saw many familiar faces from the music as Britney Spears, Beyonce, who announced her pregnancy (from Lanvin), Lady Gaga, who left empty-handed with two awards for best female video of the year the newly created best video with a message, both to 'Born This Way' and also teen idols like Miley Cyrus (in Roberto Cavalli), Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez (Julien Macdonald), Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato.

The latter two who had a relationship for a few months were photographed speaking under the watchful eye of Selena Gomez. The photo you can see in the gallery at the bottom of the information. Britney Spears was honored by Lady Gaga and awarded the prize for Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award and the award for best pop video.

She was dressed by Moschino. Tyler The Creator took the award for best new artist, Nicki Minaj won the award for best hip-hop video and there will be a prize for Justin Bieber as Best Male Video of the Year and Best Rock Video went to the Foo Fighters. The time with more emotion of the evening came with the tribute tribute to recently deceased Amy Winehouse.

The legendary Tony Bennett unveiled some of the material that includes Amy's last performance, a session that the two recorded together for their forthcoming album, 'Duets II', and that includes the song 'Body & Soul'. The tribute continued with the Winehouse version Bruno Mars heartbreaking tribute of her hit 'Valerie'.
