Miley Cyrus could take over the role of "baby" in the remake of Dirty Dancing!

While it is known that a remake of the film "Dirty Dancing" will be made shortly under the direction of Kenny Ortega, the choreographer who was the first film, which will be the director of this second version in 2012 (director, between others in the saga "High School Musical" and "Michael Jackson's This Is It"), speculation on the casting are well underway.

It is rumored that Justin Timberlake and Miley Cyrus are two serious candidates able to embody the roles of legendary Johnny Castle and "baby" in 1987 interpreted by the late Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey. It is true that the two stars are versatile and have several strings to their bow, including comedy, song and especially for the film that bears his name so well, dance! So info or intox? Other celebrity names circulating as of course the cast is just beginning, it also refers to the actor Andrew Garfield or the actress 'Glee', Lea Michelle ...

I must say that this film became a cult over the generations and that it must be tempting for players to take part in this highly anticipated remake! Nobody has forgotten the lame sexy actor Patrick Swayze, unfortunately, died of pancreatic cancer Nov. 14, 2009, and very graceful Jennifer Grey, who had once again demonstrated his talents as a dancer in 2010 by winning Dancing With the Stars 11 at the age of 50 years! The soundtrack is also inscribed in our memories, the actor of "Ghost" was interpreted as "She's Like the Wind" on the song "(I've Had) The Time of My Life", it was awarded the Oscar for Best Original Song in 1988.

"This opportunity to make Dirty Dancing is like a homecoming for me. I look forward to assemble a team of creative and distribution will film a new generation. Patrick Swayze has established standards for men who dance to the movies just like Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire before him, "said the choreographer Ortega in a press release.

In a statement, Lionsgate, a production company in North America, said: "This new feature is a celebration of one of the most beloved movies of all time. Dirty Dancing will return to the emotions associated with first love, emotions and complexity of sexual arousal, the power of dance and the classic story of forbidden love between Baby and Johnny Castle. This new film will feature songs of the 60s."
