The King appoints the Marquis of Vicente del Bosque

From now on we will have to turn to Vicente del Bosque as the Marquis of Forest, since the King has granted the title national soccer coach and has been published today in the Official State Bulletin (BOE). The peerage has been granted under its "strong commitment to Spanish sport and the contribution to the promotion of sport values." El Marqués del Bosque has said that he "appreciates very much", but thinks the credit is shared.

The coach of the Red has insisted that his main merit was to achieve the title of world champions in soccer, and is shared with the team players. The Salamanca try to keep up from now with this distinction have decided to honor him. "I have great appreciation to the Royal Family and I thank you sincerely," he added.

But Vincent was not the only one who acquired titles. The King has granted a total of four new titles. The writer and recent Nobel Prize in Literature, Mario Vargas Llosa has been named 'Marqués de Vargas Llosa "precisely for his" outstanding contribution, universally appreciated, literature and Spanish.

Don Juan Carlos has also given the same title of nobility to businessman Juan Miguel Villar Mir for his outstanding and long career and the professor and former Minister Aurelio Menendez, who hold the title of "Marquis of Ibias." King himself is responsible for granting honors and awards since 1978.

While these titles are now the benefits are having the right to treatment of "Honourable" or "Illustrious lords," and little more.
