Tom Cruise and Scientology investigated

In an article by the magazine 'The New Yorker' says that since 2009 the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is investigating the practices of Scientology for slavery in any of its members. Something that is not surprising when you consider that it has always been heavily criticized for its practices.

Scientology is the belief that mostly practiced by many Hollywood stars like Tom Cruise, John Travolta and Julilette Lewis and can say that now more than ever in the spotlight. The FBI has conducted interviews with former members of that church, because of allegations he received about the alleged practices.

In the report speaks of abuse cases church members who want to leave. There is also talk of how it is confined to members who have to "retrain" in a labor camp for years, they work for nothing or little pay. The paper also describes cases of physical and psychological abuse committed by the head of the church, David Miscavige, a close friend and godfather to Tom Cruise.

The report focuses almost the husband of Katie Holmes, who is said to have been used repeatedly by members of Scientology, who were ordered to reform a hangar and an office in California, two motorcycles and one of their cars and the famous actor who paid $ 50 a week. Of course, the article takes more weight to statements by the filmmaker Paul Haggis, who left in 2009 his membership in the Church of Scientology to the organization's refusal to marry same-sex.

Haggis also tells how he learned of a congregation called Sea Org Scientology, to which children of ten and twelve years were taken by their parents to work, which reminded even child slavery conditions he saw in Haiti. Obviously the Church of Scientology denies any wrongdoing and said in a statement sure to ignore the FBI investigation.
