Prince William and Kate Middleton: Things get serious at last!

Prince William and Kate Middleton have made their first royal duty since their marriage with great fanfare on April 29. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge who have returned, there is a ten-day honeymoon in the Seychelles, met briefly with U.S. President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle Obama, at Buckingham Palace last Tuesday (May 24 ).

The U.S. presidential couple had started the day with Prince Charles and wife Camilla at Winfield House, the residence of the Ambassador of the United States before the official meeting with Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip at Buckingham Palace. This meeting with Prince William and Kate Middleton, who was not originally on the agenda of Barack Obama, took a good fifteen minutes.

Both couples have had a very casual. They reportedly discussed the forthcoming visit of the royal couple across the Atlantic, they will travel this summer in California. However, despite their popularity, and to respect the protocol, Prince William, 28, and Kate Middleton, 29, were not invited to the lunch and banquet which was held on the evening of the meeting.
