Jane Fonda will present the Palme d'Or at Cannes

After 10 days of competition, the 64th Festival de Cannes will close this evening, chaired by Robert De Niro. And while the prognosis is rife about the films that are rewarded, we learn that the Palme d'Or will be presented by Jane Fonda, during the ceremony presented by Melanie Lawrence. This year, the actress has remained at Cannes throughout the festival.

Like Faye Dunaway, whose image has been chosen to represent the Cannes Film Festival. But it's Barbarella, which was tasked to bring class and glamor to the Palme d'Or 2011. Something to delight the recipient. And on stage, Lady Jane end up including Robert De Niro, who was his partner in Stanley and Iris in 1989.

Aged 73 years, Jane Fonda continues to impress with its shape and vitality. This great figure and feminist political commitment of the 70s, is now the face of L'Oreal, ... because it's worth it.
