Born this Way Clip: Lady Gaga creates a new race

Phone, Bad Romance, Poker Face ... Each clip Gaga was an event, a moment of cinema for which it convened the big names in the international underground hype as the Swedish director Jonas Akerlund, and this time, the fashion photographer Nick Knight. The singer released the video for Born This Way yesterday, so we find this seven-minute short film particularly astounding.

It shows the Gaga face transformed, as it proved his last weeks, it embodies the creature out of her placenta during childbirth cosmic and flowers. A ripper! "It's like a Monster Mother program," said Stefani Germanotta aka Gaga. "So begins a new breed. Dressed by Nichola Formichetti and evolving in a choreographed Laurieann Gibson, the artist finds his usual references, including Madonna and Michael Jackson with unstructured movements, skull masks, etc..

The video also reflects the inspiration of designer Alexander McQueen. Cinematic level, the references may go to Sin City by Frank Miller at The Darren Aronofsky Foutain through Metropolis by Fritz Lang. Lady Gaga also preparing another video: "A more refined version of the song to be released on i-Tunes (...).
