Elizabeth Taylor's funeral diva with Michael Jackson

The ceremony began with 15 minutes late ... by the last will of Elizabeth Taylor. Arriving late for his own funeral, it's a concept: it is star or we is not. The Hollywood legend had planned to make the funeral a snub, a final unexpected bang. His last great love, his legendary lover Richard Burton had booked a fall in his "Liz" at his side at the edge of Lake Geneva.

At the Geneva peace, Liz chose the cemetery of the stars of Los Angeles and the company of Humphrey Bogart, Errol Flynn, Clark Gable, Buster Keaton and especially ... that of his friend Michael Jackson. The ceremony was held away from cameras and lenses, journalists being detained at affordable cemetery, blinded by a screen tent.

But an official statement lets you know some details of the place. Colin Farrell, a close friend of Elizabeth Taylor, recited a poem while the children and grandchildren of the star also gave readings and his little son sang the traditional tune of Amazing Grace on trumpet. Only images of the funeral broadcast by U.S.

television: those of a long convoy of limousines deposited the thirty people invited. At 20h, last night, the lights of Broadway were dimmed, signaling the disappearance of modesty with a star.
