Star Academy TF1 has found a successor!

By acquiring the rights of the Voice of Holland, a Dutch TV show-hook, TF1 had decided to bury once and for all the Star Academy. It's not really a surprise, although Endemol, the production company of Star Ac secretly hoped to develop the concept, and bring up to date. Missed. According to our colleagues well informed Puremédias, TF1 is expected to sign a definitive agreement with the company Shine (which produces such Masterchef).

The first string grid and priority to M6, which hoped to see the show take place in its program schedule. A tackle well placed as TF1, meanwhile, wanted to buy the rights to X-Factor finally broadcast on M6. In the Netherlands, the cradle of reality TV, the show is so successful (peaks at 60% market share have been recorded) that NBC will adapt to the American sauce.

American Idol history to compete. A mixture of concepts to success! Voice of Holland is based on one principle: the voice, the voice alone. No question for the jury to be destabilized, drew astonished and attracted by the natural or the eccentricity of a candidate (as the case as Luce New Star, which has relied heavily on its look).

And for good reason, in Voice of Holland, jurors do not see the candidate. They are indeed back to singers. Once the song ended, the jurors decide whether to turn their head, which is equivalent to a "yes". If several of them are convinced it is the candidate who will choose his coach. In other words, a mixture of New Star and X-Factor.

Next come the "battles" on stage like a ring. Then the final sprint, like New Star, where candidates are eliminated one by one, week after week. The French adaptation of the show would land on our screens in 2012.
