Florinda Chico actress dies at 84

The veteran actress Florinda Chico died at age 84 on Saturday 19 February in Madrid. The singer died this morning in a Madrid hospital due to cardiac arrest and had a few years removed from the public and professional life. Known by the general public for his role as "chacha" hearth and outspoken, he played roles in television series such as Ambrose's Aunt (1971), The maniacs (1974), This man in black (1975-1976), Antonio mercer, Machine Shop (1991), the sexologist (1994), Makinavaja (1995-1996), House of trouble (1996-2000) with Arturo Fernandez and thieves go to the office.

Born in Don Benito (Badajoz) on April 24, 1926, after studying voice, began her career in magazine representations. His first big success came with the work and egg white double magazine (1947), along with the comedy trio Zori, Santos and elbows. Debuted in theaters in 1953 with Passport to an angel, Javier Setó and was in the second half of the sixties when it reached the popularity and reconicimiento the general public.

Florinda Chico also developed a side away from comedy and gave birth to some dramatic characters in films like "Raise Ravens" directed by Carlos Saura she played Rosa, and 'La casa de Bernarda Alba' by Mario Camus, where he played The Poncia, the maid and confidante of Bernarda principal, played by Irene Gutiérrez Caba.
