Dilemma too close to Secret Story? Yes, according to justice!

Bad news for the former director of Castle Dammarie-les-Lys. While W9 prolongs the suspense on a second season of Dilemma, the Commercial Court on Friday condemned the new reality TV show Alexia Laroche-Joubert. Why? Because the concept was too similar to that of Secret Story, the program aired in the summer of Endemol on TF1.

The court has sentenced Alexia Laroche Joubert and production company Banijay "to pay damages to Endemol and to immediately cease production of the show." Between 1998 and 2008, Alexia Laroche-Joubert was in charge of manufacturing subsidiary of Endemol, which produced, among others, Star Academy, Big Brother or Secret Story.

Part in the direct competitor of Endemol, the producer also became presenter was created dilemma. In turn, Alexia Laroche-Joubert announced it would appeal the decision of the Commercial Court "for decision contrary to competition law." Meanwhile, the ruling appears to bury a little dilemma.

Already rétissante the idea to broadcast a second season of the program, W9 could simply send the concept to oblivion.
