The series "How I Met Your Mother" renewed until 2013

While the recent antics of Charlie Sheen, who seems to have completely lost the ball, forced CBS to suspend my Uncle Charlie (at least) for the remainder of the season, the American chain has recently reaffirmed his confidence in another of its sitcoms How I Met Your Mother. According to the website Deadline, CBS has indeed ordered two more seasons of the series, assuring him of being on the air until May 2013.

Launched in 2005, How I Met Your Motherconnaît a great success, both from critics and audiences. This season, the series has collected an average of 10 million viewers on Monday night, a score increase over the 2009/2010 season. How I Met Your Mother was also able to take advantage of the many guest stars who have appeared over the years, including Britney Spears and more recently Katy Perry.

According to Deadline, all actors in the series, namely Josh Radnor, Jason Segel, Cobie Smulders, Neil Patrick Harris and Alyson Hannigan have already agreed to re-enlist for two more seasons. Only bad news in all this: it will still have to wait to discover the identity of "mother"!
