The star of "Without a Trace" will incarnate the author of "Harry Potter"

Shift register for Poppy Montgomery. The Australian actress, known to the general public for her role as Samantha Spade in the series Without a Trace, will soon embody JK Rowling, famous author of the Harry Potter series. According to the U.S. show Access Hollywood, Poppy Montgomery will indeed have the primary role of Magic Beyond Words, a documentary on JK Rowling's autobiography, currently being prepared by the Lifetime Channel.

The TV movie will focus on the life of the author before she became a global star thanks to Harry Potter. "Before being famous, JK Rowling was a young divorced mother who was living allowances," said the director of Magic Beyond Words, Paul Kaufman, who added that many Harry Potter fans will be surprised to discover this little known aspect of life of JK Rowling.

Currently filming in Vancouver, Canada, Magic Beyond Words should be released in the U.S. later this year. To slip into the skin of the British author, Poppy Montgomery, who admits to being a big fan of Harry Potter, had to change his accent and even wear blue lenses. It is also the magic of television!
